Honda PC800 Mirror 3D Scans
This is raw 3D scan data of the parts that make up a Honda PC800 (Pacific Coast) mirror.
Use these as a starting point for your own project. They are not perfect but pretty good if you want to model the parts yourself. I would not assume you give these to a 3D print service and get a perfect replacement for a part you wish to replace.
The part that holds the mirror glass and the turn signal were scanned as a whole, these were not sacrificed to the scanning.
The little breakaway mounting plate was not scanned (since it's mostly 2 dimensional), but remodeled and can be found in the Processed Scans folder.
The zip file you get has two folders.
- Raw Scans
This has .stl files of the raw scans, straight from the scanning program. - Processed Scans
This has .stl files of somewhat cleaned up versions of the scans and a .blend file with all the parts aligned as fitted on the bike.
There are no guarantees for these scans... but we used them to make a pretty good fitting replacement ourselves.
A zip file with two folders containing original and improved .stl files of all my scans.
